Jane has been a glass artisan since 1984 and has been teaching stained glass to adults since 1985. Jane began selling her stained glass at craft shows in the early 1990s and has been selling at craft shows since. In 1992 Jane married her husband Peter and convinced him to learn to fuse and slump glass. In 1993 they had their daughter Julia and in 1996 their son Garrett.
When Jane’s mother passed away, she inherited all of her craft supplies: kilos upon kilos of beads, ceramic molds, candle molds, and so much more. Through time Jane took some classes to learn how to pour slip cast ceramics and paint ceramic ware using different brushstroke techniques. Growing up, Julia began having an eye for crafting and learned how to knit and crochet. As a teenager she entered a hand knit baby dress into the LA County Fair and won best of show. Through time, she also started learning how to paint ceramics. In 2017 Julia opened an Etsy shop with no sales. With the pandemic, Julia was able to add more items to the shop and even created an Instagram to show everyone what they hand make. Julia now runs the website, social medias, paints the ceramics, knits, crochets, and slumps and fuses the glass. Jane continues to make the stained glass pieces and helps when she can with ceramics.
